After the Hoff's visitation rights had been taken from him after a now infamous video of him drunk and rambling surfaced on Extra, David Hasselhoff has now being granted visitation of his two teenage daughters. In contrast to the very public manner in which the tape was leaked, and both David and his former wife, Pamela Bach, responded to the footage, the two parties currently remain fairly close-lipped about the most recent legal proceedings concerning custody issues in their divorce.

Lawyer Melvin Goldsman made the disclosure before the start of a closed-door court hearing concerning the videotape and related issues. Hasselhoff, 54, and his former wife, Pamela Bach, 43, both attended the hearing but neither provided details after it ended.

"It went very well, the truth was told, and I can't say any more," Hasselhoff said outside court.

When celebs are involved in public drunkenness scandals, there's a certain amount of gaper's block involved. Watching the Hoff eat a hamburger shirtless on the floor was like seeing a car hit a telephone pole. You wonder, whose going to call 911? Ah, someone will, keep staring! AND after this videorecorded debacle, a judge STILL allows the Hoff to see his kids. His ex-wife must be batshit crazy to lose out to a drunken, hamburger-eating, middle-aged has-been.

From Hollywood Rag, the Hoff is an alcoholic Energizer Bunny: "David Hasselhoff has been hospitalized 13 times for alcohol poisoning, the star's ex-wife claims. Pamela Bach says the former 'Baywatch' actor's "extreme" problem with drink
gradually "eroded" their 16-year-marriage. She told Us Weekly magazine: "He's been through three rehabs - in 2001,
2002, and 2004. He has been to the emergency room at least 12 to 13 times at Cedars-Sinai, under aliases, for alcohol poisoning. His disease is very extreme. Over time, the disease eroded the relationship."

Hasselhoff's attorney, Melvin Goldsman, claims Bach's allegations are "not true".

Bach, 43, explained the first time she saw the 54-year-old actor drunk was on their second date.

She said: "The first time I saw David wasted was our second date at his house. I thought, 'Wow, he drank a little bit too much and too fast.'

"But he was my best friend, and I was lucky to marry the love of my life."

Bach also revealed she was alone in her bedroom watching TV when she saw the now infamous video of a drunk Hasselhoff rolling around shirtless on a hotel.

The footage was filmed by the couple's 16-year-old daughter Taylor-Ann, after her father asked her to video him when drunk so he could "see what he is like". When asked what she thought about the video, Bach replied: "So many
emotions. I'm thinking of protecting my family, and who released this? And I'm thinking that Taylor-Ann is so calm, because she's been raised around it."

Bach and Hasselhoff, who divorced in 2006, are in a bitter custody battle for Taylor-Ann and 14 year-old Hayley (pictured).

"David Hasselhoff's visitation rights to see his children have ceased. A Los Angeles judge has temporarily banned The Hoff from seeing his two daughters after a video was leaked on the Internet showing David drunk in the presence of his daughter Taylor-Ann.

The order will be in place until May 21, when another custody hearing is set to take place. The judge has also ordered daughters Taylor-Ann, 16 and Hayley, 14, to see a psychologist before the next court date. Hasselhoff and his ex-wife, Pamela Bach, have been in a court battle over custody since August 2006."

If you haven't seen this video yet, please go to www.youtube.com and search for "hasselhoff drunk." The video, taped by his older daughter Taylor-Ann, was per the Hoff's request that the next time he got rip-roaring, slurry, hamburger-eating drunk, please record it to see the low point he had reached. He's shirtless, and keeps taking bites of a hamburger in much the same way you would see someone in a 24-hour diner eat their hamburger at 330a (obvs drunk). In fact, I did that last weekend, at Darcy Lynn's Snack Shop and fell asleep in between bites of cheeseburger. Sigh. The Hoff and I should date.
