Star magazine is reporting that Nicole Richie's baby is in danger: "She's just 25 years old, but Nicole Richie has done more than her share of hard living. And now, say medical experts, she may have to pay the price.

Nicole has been using heroin and pills. She's abused alcohol and cocaine and battled devastating anorexia. She has also been arrested for DUI and drugs and has done three stints in rehab, while becoming famous as Paris Hilton's wild party pal.

But the 12-weeks-pregnant "The Simple Life" star is facing her biggest challenge yet — motherhood.

Although she's frightened and desperate to stay clean, sources say sobriety remains a daily struggle, and experts agree that beating her demons will likely be a long and arduous process.

HIGH RISK
Doctors say Nicole's pregnancy is unusually high-risk. If she did have drugs in her system when she got pregnant, she could be at risk for a miscarriage or birth defects.

Nicole's weight is another serious ongoing problem. Mary Jane Minkin, M.D., a clinical professor at Yale University (who has not treated Nicole), is surprised that the scary-skinny star could conceive at all. "That baby is at extraordinary risk," says Dr. Minkin. "Nicole needs to gain at least 40 pounds to nourish the baby properly."

Bricks and Stones posts on her latest legal victory: "In the life of the privileged and famous, Nicole Richie has gotten another break in her DUI trial. The trial will not start today and has been pushed back another month until August 16th. The postponement occurred because Nicole’s key witness, Dr. McGee, is on vacation with his family. Dr. McGee will reportedly challenge the drug results.

I bet this stupid hoe will not even get charged even when she finally gets her ass to court. And the worst part is, what jury would believe a doctor named Dr. McGee?That sounds real credible, like he for sure isn’t some ex-hippie stoner doctor that passes out prescriptions for weed and vicodin. Gotta love the justice system."

How is anyone remotely surprised? Celebs get out of jail time? This is not news. What's beyond sick though, is that she would possibly use her pregnant condition to the aid of avoiding a sentence. I mean, what is this, "The Young and the Restless"? Maybe her evil twin should take the stand.

There are rumors that Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck "are expecting their second child, it has been claimed. The ‘Catch and Release’ actress was reportedly seen leaving a doctor’s office sporting a clearly visible baby bump. A source told New Weekly magazine, “She was very happy and glowing. She touched her stomach for a moment. She looked pregnant.” The couple - who have a 16-month-old daughter Violet - are said to be “thrilled” with the news.

A second source said, “They were hoping to have another baby fairly soon so that Violet would have a sibling to grow up with. “She’s an affectionate, happy child. Jen thinks she’ll love being a big sister.”

They seem like a good fam. Not so long ago Ben was cruising strip clubs and hitting on television reporters, now he's devoted dad to Violet. It probably helps that BFF Matt Damon is also a new(er) dad, to Isabella. Jennifer Garner seems like she could whip anybody into shape. We'll keep an eye on this rumor, though it's completely believable.

Page Six's Cindy Adams is reporting that Shar Jackson, mother to two of Kevin Federline's four children, and the woman he left pregnant for Britney Spears, is pregnant again--this time again with KFed's baby! Shar, who is seven weeks along, is hoping this will bring the fam back together again, says Star magazine. Drama! So much for the rumors that Britney and KFed were getting back together, and that when he drops the kids off, he stays for hours, sometimes even the night! Page Six says that KFed and his original babymama are back together, and we'll have to see what Ms. Britney thinks of all this. Good for Shar. She, for some odd reason, never held it against Kevin that he left her--pregnant no less--for Britney, and always spoke highly of him. Mabes it's her one true love?

UPDATE: From UsWeekly's blog: Shar Jackson is denying recent reports that she’s is pregnant with Kevin Federline’s child. In fact, she is not pregnant at all.

"It is not even remotely true,” Jackson’s rep tells Usmagazine.com.

The erroneous story originated in this week’s Star magazine, which reported that Jackson, 30, is six weeks along with Federline’s child.

Jackson and Federline, 29, have two children together, a daughter Kori, 4, and a son Kaleb, 2. The Ex Wives Club star also has two children from a previous relationship.

Federline also has two sons with Britney Spears, Sean, 21 months, and Jayden, 9 months.
