Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber, expecting their first child together in August, secretly married in a small ceremony in New York this past weekend. From I Don't Like You in That Way, "Both Naomi and Liev are intensely private people and wanted a very private, personal wedding. They decided relatively recently that they wanted to be married before the birth, in keeping with their traditional, family-centered backgrounds. Nothing's been confirmed, but they've discussed the possibility of having a far more lavish do in the wintertime, or even early next year, where everyone can let their hair down and toast their nuptials in style."

UPDATE: bullshit story. Sorry. From ET!: At Sunday night's Tony Awards, when LIEV SCHREIBER was asked if there was a wedding in the future for him and longtime girlfriend NAOMI WATTS, he said, "We are married. You got it first. Break the story!"

But today his rep says the actor misspoke and was merely joking.

Liev and Naomi, who worked together on 2006's 'The Painted Veil,' are expecting their first child together in August. The couple say they don't know what the sex is and have not decided on names yet.
